Narcissus Platter

The Moral of the Story collection explores how Greek myths are remarkably relevant to modern life. The often unpleasant lessons that they teach us and the comeuppance that their protagonists receive still gives us something to ponder. The Narcissus series is inspired by Narcissus who was tricked into falling in love with his own reflection in a pool. He was heartbroken when he realized that his love would not be reciprocated and was transformed and immortalized into a beautiful golden flower. Here in Crete, the narcissus flower is called manousaki
