Regular price €45,00 €0,00
Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

KITKO is a cardboard construction system that allows children to create a geodesic dome - as well as other structures - and then decorate, play and make it their own.  It is aimed at families who care for STEM education, design thinking and smart and environmentally friendly toys for their kids.

A Kitko WHITE kit includes 54 cardboard pieces for you to build your own dome
out of cardboard.
A KITKO kit comes with enough pieces to build a dome, but it is essentially a construction system that allows users to construct various large-scale geometric structures, allowing children to develop geometric thinking through play.
Instruction manual included and Youtube video's are also available!
Assembly time: 20-30minutes

1. ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS PLAY
Most toys become obsolete in just a few weeks.
Children quickly outgrow their toys, or their
desirability wanes over a short period of time. Other
toys break down or no longer work if they are missing
a piece. What happens to a toy when it is no longer
played with? The unfortunate truth is that 80% of all
toys end up in landfills, incinerators or in our oceans.
We must do better. Kitko kits are meant to be
mounted, customized, lived in and demounted several
times. The day your child’s play interests change, it is
disposed of and recycled.
Kitko's mission is to foster creativity and
environmentally responsible play. We care for the
environment and want to teach our children how to do
so as well.
Kitko domes are designed in Switzerland and are
made of recycled corrugated cardboard. Cardboard is
versatile, lightweight, easy to use and an excellent
material for kids to manipulate. No connectors or
binders are needed!

2- CREATIVITY AND STEM FOUNDATIONS
At Kitko, they strive for healthy, creative, stimulating and
rewarding play that requires no plugs or batteries.
Kitko domes are a fantastic way to introduce kids to
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and
Mathematics) education in the most playful way. A
Kitko kit encourages kids to think critically and
problem-solve through trial and error. Building a
geodesic dome out of a kit of triangular cardboard
pieces is a great introduction to engineering principles,
and also a great way to show them that they can build
something extraordinary with very ordinary materials.

3.- BUILD TOGETHER, PLAY INDEPENDENTLY
Sometimes the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives
can cause us to feel disconnected from our family
members. Mounting a Kitko dome is a fantastic and
fun way to connect and bond with your kids. Mounting a dome can be done singlehandedly- but the more
hands the better
